Vicharta Samuday Samarthan Manch is a non-profit organisation working to empower the nomadic and de-notified communities while striving to create an inclusive society as well as government policies for these extremely marginalised sections of our society.

VSSM as a collective was initiated in the year 2006 and was formally registered as an organization in the year 2010, with the mission to give social identity, citizen’s rights, education, health facilities, housing and livelihood options to the various communities of Nomadic and De-Notified Tribes (NT-DNTs)

VSSM strives to create an empathetic social and political environment that is willing to enable inclusive growth of the Nomadic and de-notified communities.

Rights & Entitlements

Enable the communities of NT and DNTs avail their fundamental rights and entitlements.

Education

Ensure all the children from NT and DNTs enjoy their fundamental Right to Education.

Rehabilitating Vadia

The persistent efforts by VSSM has brought an unprecedented change in the lives of people here in Vadia Village.

Disaster Relief and Rehabilitation

Facilitate creation of alternate employment opportunities in lieu of the traditional occupations that have been rendered obsolete with time.

Vallabh Vidya Vihar

VSSM has visualized a one-of-a-kind cultural and educational enclave for nomadic and de- notified communities. A place they can call their own, a place for their children to acquire skill-based learning and basic education.

Employment

Housing

Ensure that the Nomadic and De-Notified Tribes acquire a roof, a place to settle and get an address of their own

Participatory Water Management

The Participatory Water Management initiative was introduced with a hope to recharge and revive the ground water levels in the region.

Elderly Assistance - Mavjat

Ensure that elderly individuals of Nomadic and De-Notified communities have access to wholesome food, quality healthcare during medical emergencies
