Education Programme

The nomadic communities lag tremendously on the access and importance of education. As a result of this deprivation, the communities have failed to be part of the educated mainstream. Since its inception, VSSM has made massive efforts to bring education to the doorstep of these communities by opening Balghars and bridge schools in settlements, enrolling the children in government or private schools or residential educational institutions.

o Total 476 children (163 Girls and 313 Boys) getting education from 02 hostels of the organization with all expenses borne by VSSM.
o The hostel for the children of Snake Charmer (Vadi-Madari) Community is functional at Kakar village in Kankrej Block of Banaskantha District.

There are two hostels run by VSSM as follows:

1. Vallabh Vidya Vihar, Pansar and
2. Smt. Viraben Meghaji Shah (Chandariya) Hostel, Kakar

The annual fund requirement per child roughly comes out to ₹ 35,000.00 per year. You may sponsor education of any number of children as may deem fit.
